Nancy Rice Early: Fantasy Travels
June 2022
St. Paul’s was honored to feature Nancy Early, an artist whose representational art, reflects the technique and emotional expansiveness of Expressionism, but her whimsy and capacity for abstraction breaks open joy on every side.
Nancy is from St. Louis. Her works have been shown in galleries around the country and even in exhibitions in Paris, France. Her work can be found at her South Jefferson studio. (see below)

Nancy Rice Early has been creative her whole life.
From studying realism in still life, landscape, the human figure, and design in school, she learned the fundamentals of her craft. While she often does realistic commissions of landscapes and pets, most of her current work is abstraction. She loves playing with color and composition to create fantasy landscapes in drawing and painting. Her work has been shown and purchased at art shows, galleries and museums in Paris, France, California and the Midwest. She also paints murals. She's won numerous awards and is in collections in the U.S., Ireland and Australia. |
