St Paul's celebrates artists!
The altar pieces, communion vessels, and baptismal font were all created by the artists in our community. We welcome musical expression from Jazz, Gospel and traditional hymnody. If you are looking for a place to express your creativity, you belong at St. Paul's!

A Work in Progress
We are so blessed at St. Paul's to have such excellent musical and visual artists and craftspeople. I personally have never served someplace where the images over the altar were created by someone who was ALIVE and worshiping in the space. Evan Smith's altar icons have shaped our worship and enlivened our community by their majesty.
Now, we have an opportunity to continue this legacy. Evan has a vision for adding a lunette (semi-circular image) above the tryptich over the high altar. Evan's idea is to add an image that speaks to the transcendant nature of God. His general idea is shown above. The details will be decided in "real time". This work will offer visual fullness to our understanding of God. The circular shape in the center, while not having been originally conceived as such, could easily have added hints to show not only the cosmic nature of God, but also God's presence even at the cellular level. In that respect, we could commission and dedicate this Lunette as a memorial to the Pandemic we are living through.
Below is a link to a short survey where you can offer up ideas, thoughts and opinions about commissioning this piece for St. Paul's. Please take a moment to participate! Your vestry will use your input to decide when, how and whether to pursue this idea further at this time.
We are so grateful to Evan Smith for offering us his skill and vision in service to Christ and the church.

Of the three icons, Saint Paul was completed most recently. Since he is our church's name saint, artist Evan invited the people of St. Paul's to participate in the painting. The video below is a time lapse of the process. Music courtesy of Alexander Weymann.
Below are images from a recent exhibit created by Evan and Stacey Smith called Reliquary. To see more of their work click here.
